Manufacturing QA/QC Inspector

Job Summary

Performs visual and dimensional inspections of manufactured products and components to verify compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Ensures accurate quality records by documenting inspection results and maintaining controlled documentation. Supports production flow by identifying nonconformances, communicating findings, and collaborating with quality and production partners. Maintains independence from production execution while promoting a consistent, team-based approach to quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducts visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of products, components, and subcomponents using standard inspection tools and methods.
• Documents inspection results and quality records using approved electronic and manual reporting systems.
• Reviews drawings, specifications, and work instructions to verify product conformance and identify discrepancies.
• Identifies, reports, and tracks nonconformances, supporting investigation and corrective action activities.
• Coordinates with quality leadership and production partners to support inspection coverage and production flow.
• Maintains controlled documentation, inspection records, and material traceability as required.
• Promotes safe work practices, quality awareness, and orderly inspection work areas.

Education Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.

Work Experience

• 2 – 5 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing, construction, or fabrication environment required.
