Job Description
The Office Administrator / Funeral Home Receptionist plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and respectful operation of the funeral home office. This position involves greeting clients and visitors, managing administrative tasks, and supporting funeral directors to provide compassionate service during difficult times.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist clients and visitors with professionalism and empathy
- Manage phone calls, schedule appointments, and handle correspondence
- Maintain accurate records and files related to funeral services
- Coordinate office supplies and ensure the front desk area is welcoming
- Support funeral directors with administrative duties and documentation
- Handle payments and billing in accordance with company policies
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in office administration
- High school diploma or equivalent
