Bi Lingual Onsite Production Supervisor (Weekend Shift)
Location: Bloomington, IL
Schedule: Friday-Sunday, 4:30 AM - 4:30 PM, plus every other Thursday
Employment Type: Full-Time
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Onsite Production Supervisor to oversee temporary workforce operations within a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for staffing production lines, supervising temporary associates, ensuring attendance and productivity goals are met, and serving as the primary liaison between the customer and workforce. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who thrives in a manufacturing setting and has experience leading teams, coaching employees, and responding to changing production demands.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee temporary associates working on production lines.
- Ensure production lines are properly staffed to meet daily production requirements.
- Coordinate staffing needs with customer leadership and respond to changing workforce demands.
- Monitor attendance, performance, productivity, and associate engagement.
- Conduct coaching, counseling, and corrective action discussions as needed.
- Maintain a visible presence on the production floor to support associates and customer operations.
- Investigate and resolve employee concerns, attendance issues, and workplace conflicts.
- Track and communicate staffing metrics, headcount, and shift performance.
- Partner with customer leadership to ensure production goals are achieved.
- Facilitate orientation, training, and onboarding of new temporary associates.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and customer requirements.
- Complete required reports, documentation, and administrative tasks in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Bi Lingual in English and Spanish
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory, team lead, staffing, or workforce management experience in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, or industrial environment.
- Strong leadership and employee relations skills.
- Ability to coach, motivate, and develop employees.
- Excellent communication and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Ability to stand, walk, and work on a production floor for extended periods.
Preferred
- Experience managing temporary or contingent workforces.
- Previous staffing, recruiting, or workforce management experience.
- Knowledge of manufacturing and production processes.
- Experience conducting investigations and performance management discussions.
Work Schedule
- Friday - Sunday: 4:30 AM - 4:30 PM
- Every Other Thursday: 4:30 AM - 4:30 PM
- Must be flexible to support operational needs, staffing shortages, and production demands as required.
