Our client company is an American multinational technology company engaged in e-commerce, cloud computing, online advertising, digital streaming, entertainment, and artificial intelligence. Founded in 1994, the company started as an online book marketplace that gradually expanded to include virtually all consumer products as well as many other categories. As of 2026 it was the world's biggest online retailer and sells books, electronics, pharmaceuticals, car parts, video games, dining products, jewelry, food, music, and sports equipment.


Our company will have 120 Production Associates on a six to eight week assignment with this client that will start on September 14th.  We will need ten Team Leaders to oversee these excellent employees.

 

Position Summary

The Team Lead is responsible for supervising and directing a team of temp employees to ensure daily operational objectives are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements. The Team Lead serves as the primary link between the workforce, project management, and safety personnel.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Attend daily kickoff meetings and receive work assignments and priorities.

• Communicate daily objectives and direct team members to assigned work areas.

• Monitor productivity and ensure tasks are completed on schedule.

• Report operational issues, delays, equipment concerns, and staffing challenges.

• Enforce safety policies and immediately report accidents, incidents, and unsafe conditions.

• Coordinate with the Site Safety Supervisor regarding risk assessments and safety concerns.

• Maintain team accountability and enforce company policies and code of conduct.

• Ensure employees remain focused on assigned duties, including compliance with cell phone policies.

• Assist employees with daily clock-in and clock-out procedures and verify attendance records.

• Complete basic reports and communicate workforce updates to management.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise temporary employees and contractors.

• Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide daily guidance.

• Promote teamwork, accountability, and a safe work environment.
