Position Summary:
The Campus Director provides leadership for the campus's overall administration and daily operations and serves as the designated Assisted Living Administrator. This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with Oklahoma State Department of Health regulations and standards, and overseeing resident services, staffing, financial management, occupancy, and strategic planning.
The Campus Director leads the team in providing high-quality services with professionalism, compassion, and efficiency. This role ensures campus operations remain aligned with the mission, vision, and values of Baptist Village Communities while promoting a safe, welcoming community, operational excellence, strong customer satisfaction, and financial stability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisted Living Administrator License (Required)
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality services to residents and families
- Maintain compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations, rules, and standards
- Work to achieve and maintain targeted occupancy levels
- Promote excellence in resident and customer satisfaction through ongoing feedback, problem-solving, and continuous quality improvement
- Improve coordination and delivery of customer services across campus operations
- Prepare and administer the annual operating budget and monitor expenditures and cost controls
- Promote constructive and collaborative problem-solving among team members and leadership
- Provide ongoing leadership, direction, supervision, and performance feedback to team members, contracted staff, and volunteers
- Complete and document team member performance evaluations at least annually
- Encourage team member involvement through regular meetings, collaboration, and leadership opportunities
- Participate in donor cultivation, relationship-building, and solicitation efforts
- Coordinate meetings and involvement of the local support team
- Implement policies and procedures established by Baptist Village Communities leadership
- Build and maintain positive relationships with community leaders and media representatives
- Assess, prioritize, and recommend capital improvements and expenditures
- Evaluate organizational structure and make recommendations to support efficient campus operations
- Develop leadership and teamwork among Team Leaders and provide educational opportunities that strengthen job skills and performance
- Establish and maintain quality standards for daily operations and service delivery
- Perform other duties as directed to support efficient, high-quality services and the mission of Baptist Village Communities
Qualifications
- Current Oklahoma Assisted Living Administrator License required
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Knowledge of assisted living regulations and Oklahoma State Department of Health requirements
- Ability to manage multiple operational priorities, including resident services, staffing, occupancy, finances, and regulatory compliance
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, team members, community partners, and donors
- Strong financial management and budgeting skills
- Ability to lead teams, develop staff, and promote a collaborative working environment
- Commitment to providing high-quality, resident-centered services
Working Requirements
- Office environment within a healthcare facility
- Must possess adequate sight and hearing, with or without assistive devices, to meet job requirements.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, and hear.
- Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, taste, or smell.
