SWISS CNC MACHINIST / OPERATOR – CITIZEN MACHINES
Universal Punch Corporation – Southern California
Universal Punch Corporation is seeking an experienced Swiss CNC Machinist / Operator to join our manufacturing team.
Position Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate Citizen Swiss CNC turning machines
- Perform machine setups, offsets, and tool changes
- Read and interpret precision manufacturing drawings
- Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, indicators, and other precision measuring equipment
- Maintain close tolerances and high-quality finishes
- Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues
- Work with small, high-precision components
- Assist with honing operations when required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating Citizen Swiss CNC machines
- Swiss CNC setup experience strongly preferred
- Programming experience is a plus
- Experience with honing equipment is a strong plus
- Knowledge of tight-tolerance precision machining
- Ability to work independently and as part of a production team
