We are currently hiring Substitute Teachers, Aides, and Assistants, for our associated schools in the areas of Sacramento, West Sacramento, Yolo County; Woodland, Davis, Esparto and Winters

Must have no criminal record and must have a minimum of 12 units in ECE/CDEV/ HDV/ECE

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provides support in the classroom/outdoor play to ensure a safe and educational environment.
• Assists the classroom in maintaining the hygiene and personal needs of the children.
• Assists with weekly planning and implementation of daily educational activities for children.
• Assist in preparing classroom materials.
• Assist in sanitizing and maintaining a clean environment.
• Makes observations (written and/or verbal notations) of the children.
• Supports the social, emotional, physical, and developmental needs of each child.
• Maintains good communication with parents and co-workers.
• Takes advantage of all educational opportunities for professional growth.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to understand and follow directions.
• Must possess a positive and professional attitude.
• Must be flexible and able to work well with a diverse group of people

Qualifications:

• Experience in Head Start, Montessori, or Childcare Center (Preferred).
• Minimum 12 units in Child Development/Early Childhood or related field (Required for Lead Teachers).
• A.A. or B.A. in Child Development or Early Childhood (Preferred) Required for Lead Teachers.
• Associate Teacher Permit (Preferred) Required for Lead Teachers.

Requirements:

• Must have open availability (Monday to Friday FULL TIME).
• Part-time- must be available 3 FULL DAYS ***NO HALF DAYS.
