Job Summary

Supports implementation of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs within DPR’s prefabrication facilities. Conducts inspections, training, and compliance monitoring to ensure a safe, efficient, and regulatory-compliant workplace. Collaborates with operations teams to identify hazards, recommend corrective actions, and promote safe work practices. Applies working knowledge of EHS standards to improve processes and reduce risk.


Key Responsibilities

  • Performs regular facility inspections and audits, documenting observations and recommending corrective actions.
  • Supports delivery of safety training focused on shop operations, including equipment safety, ergonomics, and LOTO.
  • Assists with investigation of incidents and near misses by collecting data, identifying causes, and tracking corrective actions.
  • Monitors safety metrics and maintains accurate records of inspections, incidents, and compliance activities.
  • Collaborates with maintenance and production teams to address EHS concerns and improve processes.
  • Assists with environmental compliance tasks, including waste labeling, recycling, and stormwater inspections.
  • Communicates EHS procedures and reinforces DPR’s safety expectations on the shop floor.


Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or associates degree  in environmental science, occupational health, safety management, or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred.


Work Experience

  • 2–4 years of experience in EHS roles within manufacturing, prefabrication, or industrial operations required.


Certifications and Licenses

  • Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 30-Hour General Industry training required.
  • First Aid (FA) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification preferred.
  • Safety Trained Supervisor  (STS) certification preferred.
  • Associate Safety Professional (ASP) preferred.
