AP AR Specialist

Alliance Workforce Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) for a growing private aviation organization.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM

Pay: $25/hour

Key Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices, payments, and approvals.
• Create customer invoices, apply payments, and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Enter and reconcile transactions in QuickBooks Online.
• Track flight-related expenses using Jet Insight.
• Process and reconcile employee expenses through Ramp.
• Perform account reconciliations and research discrepancies.
• Maintain organized financial records and documentation.
• Assist with month-end close, reporting, and other accounting projects.
• Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal teams regarding billing and payments.

Requirements

• Experience with AP and/or AR.
• Strong QuickBooks knowledge.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and office software.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to handle confidential financial information.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a small-team environment.
• Ability to pass national criminal background check and drug test.

Preferred: Experience with Jet Insight, Ramp, aviation/charter operations, transportation, or service-based industries. Familiarity with Part 135 operations is a plus.
