Pool Service Technician

Barefoot Livin’ Pool Service & Repair
Pay: $1,000–$1,500 per week
Schedule: Full-time | Year-round
Location: Dripping Springs / Austin Area
Company truck, fuel card, tools & paid training provided

No Pool Experience? That's Okay.

Barefoot Livin’ is looking for a dependable, hard-working person to join our team as a Pool Service Technician.

Previous pool experience is a plus, but it is NOT required. We are willing to train the right person.

If you have experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, automotive, construction, landscaping, maintenance, mechanical work, or another hands-on trade, we especially want to talk to you.

We're looking for someone who enjoys working outside, likes working independently, takes pride in their work, and wants a stable position with a growing local company.

What You'll Do

You'll be responsible for a residential pool service route throughout the Dripping Springs/Austin area.

Your typical day will include:

• Cleaning and maintaining residential swimming pools
• Testing and balancing water chemistry
• Adding pool chemicals safely
• Brushing, skimming and vacuuming pools
• Cleaning baskets, filters and pool equipment
• Inspecting pumps, filters, cleaners and other equipment
• Identifying potential problems before they become larger issues
• Taking service photos and completing service notes
• Communicating with our team when something needs attention
• Keeping your company truck, equipment and route organized

We'll teach you our process.

What we can't teach as easily is reliability, attention to detail, work ethic and taking pride in doing a job correctly.

What We're Looking For

You do not need to come from the swimming pool industry.

You may be a great fit if you:

• Are dependable and show up when you're supposed to
• Enjoy working independently
• Are mechanically inclined
• Like working outdoors and staying active
• Can manage your time without someone constantly supervising you
• Notice when something doesn't look or work correctly
• Take pride in leaving a job better than you found it
• Communicate well
• Are comfortable learning new equipment and systems
• Have a valid driver's license and good driving record
• Can safely lift and carry equipment, chemicals, hoses and tools
• Are comfortable working outdoors in Texas weather
