Body Technician

The Body Technician specializes in automotive body repair, working primarily on passenger vehicles. This role involves both independent tasks and collaboration within a team setting, focusing on collision repair, painting, surface preparation, and panel replacement. The technician uses spray booths, paint mixing systems, and standard shop tools to restore vehicles to their optimal condition with minimal customer interaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform collision repair and panel replacement on passenger vehicles
• Prepare surfaces for painting and apply paint using spray booths and mixing systems
• Buff and polish vehicle surfaces for a smooth, finished appearance
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and adherence to safety standards
• Use standard hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Collaborate with team members to complete repair jobs efficiently

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in automotive body repair
