Description
American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with 2+ years of experience and EPIC proficiency for a day shift role at a critical access hospital.
Details
- 25-bed critical access hospital setting
- Physical Therapy unit providing outpatient and inpatient services
- Day shift schedule, Wednesday through Sunday, 5x8s from 8:30am to 5pm
- No call requirements
- EPIC EMR experience required
Requirements
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree required if licensed on or after January 2016, or foreign equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience in outpatient and inpatient physical therapy required
- Current Physical Therapy license in state of practice required
- BLS certification from an approved vendor required
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing therapy interventions
- Serves as co-leader in an interdisciplinary approach to patient care
- Establishes and communicates individualized care and discharge plans
- Completes accurate clinical documentation within established deadlines
- Supervises assigned physical therapy assistants
- Required vaccinations must be maintained annually as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions available
- No more than 5 days of requested time off (RTO) will be considered
- No radius rule applies, and local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travel candidates
