Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years experience to perform CT imaging for inpatient, outpatient, and ED patients in an acute care setting.
Details
- Acute care CT department serving inpatient, outpatient, and ED patients
- Department has 4 scanners/rooms using Philips and Siemens equipment
- EPIC EMR along with Merge PACS and Sinora PACS systems utilized
- 12-hour day shifts, Monday through Wednesday, 7a-7p
- No floating or covering other areas required
- No weekend requirement, but holiday coverage applies as needed
- No call or standby requirement
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a CT Technologist
- Current BLS certification
- ARRT-RT(R) certification required; ARRT-RT(CT) preferred
- License required if applicable
- Driver's license required for consideration
- Acute care hospital experience
- Ability to occasionally start IVs
Additional Information
- Perform CT imaging across a variety of patient types and cases
- Department volume averages 115 patients per 24 hours
- Transport staff available for inpatient and ED patients
- Films are sent out for reading, with a procedural Radiologist in-house
- No Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech present on each shift
- Registered Radiology Assistants are not used in this department
- Scrub requirement is a royal blue top with black pants
- Schedules are set by the manager; no self-scheduling or block scheduling available
- Orientation shift count based on individual technologist and department comfort level
