Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with 3+ years of experience and a California CRT/CLS license for an interventional cardiac cath lab position with structural heart capabilities.
Details
- Interventional cardiac cath lab with structural heart procedures
- 3 procedure rooms with an average daily census of 15
- Epic EMR experience required
- 5x8 hour day shifts, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM or 7:30 AM-4:00 PM
- Call required: 3 call shifts within a 2-week period
- Weekend call required every 6 weeks
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of Cath Lab/EP experience required
- Current ACLS, ARRT-R, BLS, and Fluoroscopy Permit required
- California CRT/CLS license required in-hand at time of submission (license required if applicable)
- Epic EMR experience required
- Trauma Level II experience preferred
- CCI RCIS certification preferred
- Proficiency in procedural responsibilities including equipment set up, prepping access sites, sterile field maintenance, and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias
- Experience with cardiac cath lab procedures including diagnostic and left/right heart catheterization, PCI, PTCA, hemodynamic monitoring, IABP and Impella placement, and pacemaker insertion
- Experience with vascular closure systems, carotid stenting, and endovascular interventions preferred
- Experience with TAVR and Watchman procedures preferred
- Two supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required for consideration
Additional Information
- Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, including structural heart interventions
- Scrub color provided
- First-time travelers will be considered for this role
- Returning former staff must wait at least 3 months and reside outside a 50-mile radius before returning as a travelers
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius to qualify for travel rate; local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate
- RTO requests limited to no more than 7 days and must be submitted upfront during the application process
- Candidates must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- Travelers may be required to float between sister facilities within the health system
