Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist requiring ARRT certification and Epic EMR experience for a hospital-based imaging department.
Details
- Work in the CT Scan unit performing computed tomography, general radiography, and fluoroscopy procedures
- Variable shift schedule with start times ranging from 6:30 AM to 11:00 PM
- Epic EMR experience required
- Uses PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer and manage patient images
Requirements
- ARRT certification as R.T.(R)(CT) or R.T.(R) required
- Radiologic Technologist license required in state of practice (required in CA)
- BLS certification from an approved vendor required
- Advanced CT certification required in OR and HI, preferred in CA
- Fluoroscopy license required in CA if performing fluoroscopy procedures
- Venipuncture certification required in CA if administering contrast materials
- License required if applicable
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in CT required
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
Additional Information
- Provide imaging care for patients ranging from adolescents to geriatric populations
- Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation
- Maintain accurate records, files, and billing information in compliance with HIPAA
- Perform routine equipment maintenance, calibration, and supply inventory management
- Facility requires all associates to receive required vaccinations as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions available
- Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will be automatically declined
- No radius rule applies; local candidates are accepted at the same pay rate as traveling candidates
