Job Summary
Interventional Radiology (INTRA CL) Technologist in a healthcare facility. This position involves supporting diagnostic and interventional procedures by operating fluoroscopic imaging equipment, maintaining sterile technique, and coordinating procedural workflows. The role requires collaborative teamwork with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure patient safety, high-quality care, and efficient procedure execution.

Job Details

  • Position Description: Supports diagnostic and interventional procedures through expert operation of fluoroscopic imaging equipment, sterile technique, and procedural workflow coordination. Demonstrates advanced technical competence in procedural imaging, radiation safety, sterile field maintenance, and hemodynamic monitoring. Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor aligned with medical ethics. Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of procedures.
  • Certifications, Education, and Experience: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program; current Oregon State licensure issued by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI), American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification, and current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications. At least one year of experience in Interventional Radiology and/or Cardiac Catheterization laboratory managing fluoroscopy and scrubbing interventional cases.
  • Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week.
  • Additional Information: Assist with patient preparation, positioning, connecting monitoring equipment, and verification processes. Participate in contrast allergy management and support procedural team during interventions. Help with equipment checks, room turnover, and supply management. Recognize rights, responsibilities, and confidentiality of all patients, conveying empathy and effective communication.
