Job Description
Luxor Staffing is hiring a Lumper Associates paying $18 per hour with 1st shift available. Weekly pay, possible overtime, optional direct deposit, benefits from day 1 on the job and much more!
1st shift: 6am to finish
Job duties:
- Load and unload freight from trailers, containers, and delivery trucks safely and efficiently
- Manually handle boxes, pallets, and bulk goods, or use basic warehouse equipment as required
- Break down, sort, and stage freight according to delivery or warehouse requirements
- Assist drivers and warehouse staff with accurate and timely freight handling
- Follow loading/unloading instructions, weight distribution, and trailer safety guidelines
- Inspect freight for damage and report discrepancies or issues immediately
- Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with company and safety standards
Requirements:
- Ability to lift heavy items (typically 50–75 lbs repeatedly)
- Comfortable with repetitive physical labor, bending, and standing for long periods
- Basic understanding of warehouse or freight handling operations preferred
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to safety procedures and proper lifting techniques
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Team-oriented with good communication skills
