We are seeking Travel/Local Speech Language Pathologist for multiple 13-week travel/contract positions in Syracuse, NY.


we are seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with outpatient experience to provide evaluation and treatment services. The position will primarily support outpatient care, with inpatient coverage required on designated weekends.

Job Type: Contract

Duration: 12 Weeks

Shift: Days, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Schedule: 5 Days/Week

Hours: 8 Hours/Day

Weekend Requirement: One weekend every other month

Pay Rate 

Traveler: $3,120 total weekly gross for 40 hours/week — $78/hour

  • $33/hour W-2 taxable
  • $45/hour non-taxable

Local: $3,120 total weekly gross for 40 hours/week — $78/hour

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, cognitive, communication, voice, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop and provide individualized treatment programs based on patient needs.
  • Schedule patients for evaluations and treatments.
  • Educate patients, families, and staff regarding communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Prepare clinical reports and communicate with referral sources and treatment agencies.
  • Participate in program development, departmental initiatives, and community programs.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow professional standards.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Speech Pathology required.
  • Current New York State Speech-Language Pathology license required.
  • Clinical certification in Speech Pathology or equivalent.
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) required.
  • Outpatient experience preferred.
  • Must successfully complete pre-employment health clearance.
