Maintenance Assistant (1st and 3rd Shifts)

We are currently seeking a Assistant Maintenance Technician to join our team! You will be responsible for assisting the maintenance team in completing work orders and other required tasks.

Responsibilities:

· Utilize both mechanical skills and knowledge (pneumatics, hydraulics, bearing, power transmission, lubrication, welding)

· Must have basic knowledge of PLC’s, A/C, motors and drives, schematics in our continuous process manufacturing

environment to achieve maximum machine up time

· Work professionally with maintenance supervisor and machine crews to troubleshoot and solve problems

· Engage in preventative maintenance processes in assigned areas

· On-the-job success in safety, attendance and quality of work

· Excellent teamwork, cooperation and problem-solving skills

· Willing to work flexible shifts and weekends when necessary

• Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields
• Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Deadline and detail-oriented
