Associate Technician - Groundskeeper & General Plant Support

We are seeking a reliable, hands-on Associate Maintenance Technician to provide groundskeeping, general facility, warehouse, and logistics support at our Greensburg site. This is a multi-functional role requiring flexibility and a willingness to support different site operations based on business needs. During the winter months, the position will shift more heavily toward warehouse and logistics activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain site grounds, foliage, landscaping, and grass throughout the growing season.
• Perform mowing, weed eating, edging, and general groundskeeping activities.
• Operate and maintain groundskeeping and related equipment.
• Complete weekly site cleaning and general facility upkeep activities.
• Provide general plant maintenance and preventative maintenance support within established skills and procedures.
• Assist with warehouse activities, inventory, receiving, shipping, and material handling.
• Unload pallets, materials, and other deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Assist with logistics activities and serve as backup support for the Logistics Technician as needed.
• Operate a forklift and other material-handling equipment as required.
• Support preparation of materials/blends and other site operations as assigned.
• Follow established safety, environmental, and operational procedures.
• Communicate verbally and electronically when issues arise that may affect the ability to complete assigned duties.
• Work independently while maintaining strong communication and teamwork across the site.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Wear required PPE, including safety-toe footwear, safety glasses/goggles, hearing protection, and other protective equipment.
• Use a respirator when required.
• Climb stairs and ladders as necessary.
• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Perform physically demanding work, including lifting, carrying, bending, and material handling.
• Work around hazardous materials while following all required safety procedures.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Current and valid U.S. driver's license.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship or immigration support is available.
• Ability to follow established procedures and work independently.
• Reliable, flexible, safety-conscious, and willing to support multiple areas of the plant.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant work experience preferred.
• Previous groundskeeping, landscaping, facility maintenance, warehouse, or logistics experience.
• Forklift operating experience preferred; training may be provided.
• Basic computer skills, including email, Microsoft Teams, and electronic timekeeping.
• Experience working in an industrial, manufacturing, warehouse, or plant environment.

Schedule

• Standard schedule: 5 days per week, 8 hours per day.
• A 4-day/10-hour schedule may be considered after hire.
• Minimal overtime is expected.
• Schedule may occasionally flex to provide logistics backup coverage.
