Assembly/Masking Technician (Entry Level)

This is a production/fabrication warehouse position. As a Masker, you will perform simple to complex masking and/or coating of required parts using materials such as tapes, paint, and plugs in order to protect the desired areas from future processes.

The right candidate will possess the ability to mask parts accurately and efficiently in accordance with written and/or verbal instructions prior to processes, and inspect parts prior to and after masking to ensure integrity of incoming parts (damage, scratches, etc.) while communicating with managing personnel about any issues or concerns.

JOB DUTIES:

• Prepare parts by cleaning and masking /coating.
• Record masking details on the job ticket and any necessary information on the work order as required.
• Comply with all safety regulations while working with hazardous materials and chemicals.
• Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and organized manner.
• Work safely with precision cutting tools such as X-Acto style blades/hobby blades.
• Demask and clean parts as required after coatings or processes have been performed.
• Identify and communicate process improvements that will allow for better or faster techniques while maintaining or improving the quality of the job.

8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
Overtime as needed
