Driver (Non CDL) Temporary

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and versatile individual to join our distribution team in our Wilmington warehouse as a Delivery Driver. This position requires a dynamic individual who can provide excellent customer service and maintain efficient productivity. The Delivery Driver is responsible for loading and unload trucks, make deliveries to customers and jobsites which may include low or high floors, clean off jobs, load skids of trash /tile/grid from jobsites, help in the warehouse when needed. This is a temporary job with potential to become a regular employee.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain 26' box truck with cargo lift. (CDL license not required)
• Tow pull-behind 12'+ trailers requiring frequent back-up and maneuvering
• Load trucks, make deliveries to customers and job sites which may include low or high floors, clean off jobs, load skids of trash /tile/grid from job sites
• Process, package and ship orders accurately
• Operate pallet Jack and similar equipment for logistical success
• Inspect trucks, trailers and products for damage and repairs
• Keep trucks clean and organized daily
• Abide by all company safety and transportation regulations

Requirements

• Active DOT
• Experience driving 16' and 26' box trucks
• Valid drivers license with a responsible driving record
• Ability to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment (forklift training and certification provided by ERCO and valid at all ERCO locations)
• Ability to lift or move 50 lbs. without difficulty
• Team player with organization skills
