Attorney/Lawyer

Robert Half is sourcing for an attorney with insurance defense and/or general defense litigation experience. This position would work with a boutique firm in Decatur, Georgia.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal analysis to support case strategy and provide well-reasoned recommendations on defense matters.

• Prepare motions, briefs, pleadings, and other case documents with a high level of accuracy and professionalism.

• Manage the discovery process by drafting responses, reviewing materials, and coordinating the exchange of case information.

• File answers and other court documents in accordance with procedural deadlines and jurisdictional requirements.

• Handle day-to-day casework for insurance defense matters while maintaining organized documentation and timely follow-up.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, clients, and legal support staff to move cases forward efficiently.

• Balance multiple assignments effectively while meeting billing expectations and maintaining quality legal work.

• Active Georgia bar license.

• Demonstrated experience handling insurance defense matters.

• Proven ability to draft motions, briefs, and related legal filings.

• Strong working knowledge of discovery practices and civil litigation procedures.

• Experience operating successfully in a billable-hours environment.

• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.

• Ability to manage deadlines, priorities, and multiple active cases in a hybrid work setting.
