Material Handler – 2nd Shift

Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
Location: Huntington Beach, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:15 PM–11:00 PM
Shift: 2nd Shift

About the Position

We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Material Handler to support our production and warehouse operations in Huntington Beach. This position plays an important role in keeping production departments properly stocked, maintaining accurate inventory, and ensuring materials and finished products move efficiently throughout the facility.

The ideal candidate has previous warehouse or manufacturing experience, is comfortable operating material-handling equipment, and can work accurately in a fast-paced environment.

What You Will DoMaterial Handling & Production Support

• Keep production departments stocked with the materials they need.

• Move materials between warehouse and production areas.

• Maintain the flow of materials through the production process.

• Transport materials using appropriate material-handling equipment.

• Load and unload delivery trucks.

• Identify and report missing or damaged products.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Receiving & Shipping

• Receive incoming materials and vendor orders.

• Inspect incoming orders for accuracy and condition.

• Unwrap, inspect, and reconcile vendor shipments.

• Process receipts and organize materials in designated stock locations.

• Wrap, inspect, and label finished parts.

• Ensure materials and finished products are properly identified and stored.

Inventory

• Pick parts and materials as needed for production.

• Perform cycle counts.

• Maintain accurate inventory records.

• Use an ERP system to update and track inventory and material movement.

• Perform quality-control checks as required.

Transportation & Facility Responsibilities

• Drive between multiple company warehouses as needed.

• Maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record.

• Serve as a key holder and assist with building security responsibilities.

• Follow company procedures for opening, closing, and securing the facility, as assigned.

Additional Responsibilities

• Help identify and resolve inventory or material-handling issues.

• Participate in problem-solving and process-improvement activities.

• Follow all company safety rules and procedures.

• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Skills

• Fluent in English, including speaking, reading, and writing.

• Basic math skills.

• Ability to operate material-handling equipment.

• Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred.

• Experience using ERP systems preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good organizational skills.

• Ability to identify problems and find practical solutions.

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Dependable with good attendance and punctuality.

• Ability to follow all safety procedures and company policies.

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or GED required.

• At least 6 months of relevant warehouse, manufacturing, shipping/receiving, or material-handling experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

• Ability to frequently bend, reach, push, pull, and handle materials.

• Ability to safely lift and move materials as required for the position.

• Ability to work in a warehouse and production environment.
