Retail Assistant Manager

The Retail Assistant Manager plays a crucial role in supporting daily store operations while overseeing a medium-sized team of 6 to 15 employees. Reporting directly to the Store Manager and Multi-store Manager, this position balances hands-on leadership with involvement in strategic planning and leading major store projects to drive success. The role is primarily in-store, focusing on delivering excellent customer service, meeting sales targets, and maintaining smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and motivate a team of 6-15 retail staff
• Ensure excellent customer service and resolve conflicts effectively
• Drive sales to meet or exceed targets
• Manage inventory and control stock levels
• Train and develop retail staff to enhance performance
• Oversee cash management and daily financial reporting
• Create and manage staff schedules for optimal coverage

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail management experience
