Job Description
Insight Global is immediately hiring Cable Pullers for openings supporting Lake Mariner Data Center, a cutting-edge data center campus operated by TeraWulf in Barker, NY.
Job Title: Cable Puller
Address: 7725 Lake Rd, Barker, NY 14012
Start Date: ASAP – can start as early as Thursday, 8/27
Schedule: will be 6 days/week, 12-hour shifts (~typically 72 hours/week)
Compensation: $22.00/hr ST | $33.00/hr OT
Estimated Weekly Earnings (calculated as 40 hours at the ST rate + OT hours at the OT rate)
· 60 hours/week: ($22.00 × 40) + ($33.00 × 20) = $1,540/week
· 70 hours/week: ($22.00 × 40) + ($33.00× 30) = $1,870/week
Per diem and housing are not provided. Candidates must either reside in the Barker, NY area or be able to relocate and maintain housing locally at their own expense.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Cable Puller, you'll help install the communication backbone of large-scale data centers. Daily responsibilities include:
- Running and pulling network/data cables
- Cable routing, dressing, and basic cable management
- Installing and connecting data center equipment
- Assisting with general data center installation and cabling tasks
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic knowledge of fiber optics, cabling, connectors, or testing equipment is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical diagrams
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to successfully complete all pre-employment screening requirements, including a background check, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Willingness to work 10–12-hour shifts, 6 days per week
- Ability to work 60-80 hours per week based on project demands
