Position Overview
The Machinist is responsible for setting up and operating CNC and manual machining equipment to produce precision components that meet quality, safety, and production requirements. This role works closely with machinists and machine technicians while following established programs and work instructions.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and other machining equipment
Read and interpret blueprints, BOMs, and work instructions
Select tooling, fixtures, and materials for production runs
Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using precision measuring tools
Adjust machine offsets, feeds, speeds, and tooling as needed
Troubleshoot machining issues and support process improvements
Qualifications
0–3+ years of machining experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience operating CNC mills and/or lathes
Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings
Experience using calipers, micrometers, indicators, and other precision measuring tools
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Basic math and dimensional calculation abilities

Pay Details: $21.00 per hour
