Job Description

Responsibilities- Follow the daily production schedule and achieve specified goals.
- Ensure products conform to specifications.
- Prevent and minimize rework.
- Perform standard operating procedures of production and inspection functions as directed.
- Return from breaks in a timely manner and notify the lead/foreman/supervisor before leaving the department.
- Accurately complete all necessary paperwork as directed.
- Attend all department and company scheduled meetings.
- Work the scheduled shift as assigned.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
- Immediately report all accidents and deficiencies to the lead/foreman/supervisor.
- Ensure safety devices are installed and working properly.
- Suggest improvements and continuously improve the quality of all support activities.
- Perform all required duties within company safety standards.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as necessary.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Capability to perform repetitive functions.
- Adherence to all company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to accept direction from supervisors.
- Effective communication with co-workers and supervisor.
- Capability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision.
- Excellent attendance and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Strong communication skills.
- Preferred assembly line experience.
- 6+ months of manufacturing experience, including welding, grinding, and fiberglass.
- Experience with welding positions, including MIG and TIG, aluminum, and stainless.
- Experience using grinders in fiberglass areas.
Work on the 1st shift from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. On Fridays, the shift is from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, and overtime is mandatory. Collaborate closely with the department supervisor.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Dodge, IA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.50 - $21.50/hr.
