Description
American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Cardiac Interventional Radiology unit, requiring ARRT certification and 1+ year of teaching hospital experience.
Details
- Work in the Interventional Radiology department of a teaching hospital
- Unit focuses on liver center procedures, Y90, MAAS, AVS, DEBS, PTC, and drain placements
- Utilizes Siemens equipment, PACS, and C-arm technology
- Cerner charting experience preferred
- 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- On-call required one day per week from 5:30 PM to 7:00 AM
- Floating required within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience
- Current BLS and ARRT (R) certification required; ACLS preferred
- Teaching hospital experience required; community hospital experience preferred
- Experience with PACS, C-arm, and contrast administration preferred
- Skills in venous access, central line care, angioplasty, embolization, stent placement, TIPS, and related IR procedures preferred
- Nursing candidates must have graduated from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
- 2 supervisor references required
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Perform a wide range of interventional radiology procedures including liver, vascular, neurological, and genitourinary studies
- First-time travelers will be considered
- Up to 5 days of non-holiday RTO can be auto-approved; additional time off requires facility approval
- Must work 2 of 3 major holidays
- Local candidates residing in Indiana are considered local and may be eligible for the in-state rate
- Former IU Health perm or PRN employees must have a 12-month break before applying as a traveler
