Position: Mechanical Assembly Supervisor

Schedule: 2nd Shift initially (2:00 PM - 10:00 PM)

Future Schedule: Expected transition to 1st Shift, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, after approximately 4–5 months

Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire

Location: Fridley, MN

Pay: $28 + DOE

What You'll Do

Supervise and lead employees within the assembly department
Set clear expectations around safety, quality, productivity, attendance, and performance
Hold team members accountable while maintaining a respectful, team-oriented environment
Monitor production schedules and help ensure customer orders are completed on time
Train, coach, and develop employees
Identify production issues and work with the team to resolve them
Communicate effectively with employees and management
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Lead by example and work alongside the team

What We're Looking For

Previous manufacturing or production supervisory/leadership experience
Strong communication and leadership skills
Ability to hold employees accountable while building positive working relationships
A hands-on, humble leadership style
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
Experience in assembly, aluminum manufacturing, or a similar production environment is a plus

Physical Requirements

Ability to regularly stand, walk, bend, reach, and work throughout a manufacturing environment
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
Ability to work safely around manufacturing equipment and materials
Ability to perform hands-on tasks as needed to support the production team
