Master Builder - Welder
Location: West Chester
1st Shift: Monday - Thursday, 6 AM - 4:30 PM
Starting Pay: $23 - $25 based on experience
About the Opportunity
QuickPro Staffing is hiring a Welder for a well-established manufacturer of parts cleaning and ultrasonic cleaning equipment serving precision and industrial manufacturing markets. This client designs and builds aqueous parts washers, ultrasonic cleaning systems, and engineered cleaning solutions used across industries worldwide. This is an opportunity to build a long-term career with a company that's been in the parts cleaning business for over 100 years.
What You'll Do
- Fabricate and weld stainless steel and carbon steel components, tanks, enclosures, and structural assemblies according to blueprints, engineering drawings, and weld specifications
- Perform MIG and/or TIG welding on a variety of material thicknesses and gauges
- Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and specifications to determine dimensions, materials, and welding sequences
- Fit and tack-weld components prior to final welding
- Inspect finished welds for quality, consistency, and adherence to specifications; grind and finish welds as needed
- Operate related fabrication equipment (shears, brakes, saws) as needed to support welding tasks
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company safety standards
- Collaborate with fabrication, assembly, and engineering teams to ensure parts meet quality and production timelines
What You Bring
- Prior experience welding in a manufacturing or industrial fabrication environment
- Proficiency in MIG and/or TIG welding techniques, ideally with stainless steel
- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and weld symbols
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
- Ability to use precision measuring tools (calipers, tape measures, etc.)
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a shop environment
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Welding certification a plus, but not required
