Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations for adult and pediatric patients according to physician orders and department protocols.
- Prepare patients, position them for scans, monitor during imaging, and manage contrast administration per protocol while upholding safety standards.
- Operate Philips MRI systems, optimize imaging sequences, adjust protocols for optimal image quality, and perform routine quality checks.
- Accurately document procedures and findings in the EMR, and communicate with radiologists to support accurate interpretation.
- Collaborate with the radiology team and support staff; participate in scheduling, including weekends as required by the unit, with no on-call obligations where applicable.
- Adhere to BLS requirements, MRI safety guidelines, infection control, and patient privacy standards.

Requirements
- Active MRI licensure or certification (ARRT MRI or ARMRIT; MR advanced licensure required)
- BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of MRI experience; teaching hospital setting experience preferred
- Philips MRI system experience required
- Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years
- Prior travel experience preferred
- Ability to work 3x12 night shifts; flexible with weekends/holidays
- Reliable transportation to and from the assignment location
