Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene assistance
Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration
Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper body mechanics and safety protocols
Support patients with meals, feeding, and nutritional intake documentation
Communicate patient status changes and concerns promptly to nursing staff
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients
Document patient care activities accurately in accordance with facility policies

Requirements:

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of New Mexico
Previous experience in a healthcare, long-term care, or clinical setting preferred
Strong knowledge of patient care techniques and infection control procedures
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Excellent communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills
Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain
Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering high-quality patient-centered care
