Responsibilities
- Operate CT scanners to produce cross-sectional images, position patients, and select appropriate technical factors to optimize diagnostic quality.
- Review physician orders for accuracy, document order verification, and ensure the correct examination is performed; coordinate with Central Scheduling and enter data into the Meditech system.
- Administer contrast materials per protocol, monitor for adverse reactions, and ensure patient safety and privacy throughout the exam.
- Properly position patients and adjust technique to ensure diagnostic-quality images; verify all required measurements, demographics, and anatomical information are included on final data sheets.
- Maintain equipment and work area safety, follow radiation safety practices, and comply with regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinicians to ensure appropriate exams and timely, accurate interpretations.

Requirements
- Minimum Education: Graduate from an accredited school of Radiology Technology
- Licenses: MA DPH Radiology License required
- Certifications: ARRT (CT) required within two years of hire; ARRT (CT) preferred; ARRT (R) preferred
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year CT; previous CT scan procedures experience preferred or equivalent as determined by the Department Manager
- Additional: Ability to work in a hospital setting and comply with rotating shift schedules (days, evenings, weekends)
