Must Have

Strong experience diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues

Ability to repair, install, and maintain a broad range of machinery and equipment

Knowledge of older shapers & hobs (Fellows, Liebherr, Pfauter)

Strong knowledge of Fanuc, Mazak (Mazatrol), Siemens, Okuma OSP, Haas (Heidenhain a plus)

Knowledge of Renishaw probing and ballbar systems

Experience with HVAC, plant equipment, utilities, and facility systems

Ability to read and create schematics: hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, PLC ladder logic, mechanical drawings

Ability to perform mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic rebuilds

Troubleshooting skills on CNC equipment (mechanical & electrical)

Ability to rig, install, and align equipment

Welding and fabrication skills (MIG/TIG)

Ability to cut, weld, fabricate, and machine parts

Understanding of shop math and industrial formulas

Ability to use precision measuring instruments

Comfortable working at heights

Ability to lift, move, and manipulate up to 35 lbs

Preferred / Required:

Electrician License (preferred or must obtain)

Ability to meet PIE requirements to operate equipment

Responsibilities

Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues across a wide range of machine tools

Perform installation, leveling, ballbar testing, laser alignment, maintenance, and repairs

Install and repair electrical/electronic systems on machines and facility equipment

Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and plant systems

Diagnose, disassemble, repair, align, and reassemble mechanical components

Install equipment and perform rigging operations

Test mechanical and electrical systems following repair or installation

Create, read, and update technical drawings, schematics, and PLC documentation

Participate in rebuild projects including hydraulics, pneumatics, PLC wiring, programming, and mechanical systems

Perform CNC equipment upgrades and troubleshooting

Coordinate with internal and external technical resources for parts and repairs

Participate in training programs for cross‑discipline skill development

Cut, weld, and fabricate machine parts and guarding

Troubleshoot hydraulic issues and read hydraulic schematics

Use shop math and measuring instruments for diagnostics and repair

Log maintenance activities using the maintenance system

Maintain clean, safe work areas and support 6S initiatives

Train new employees and support team‑based work environments

Follow all safety procedures

Perform other duties as assigned
