Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations on patients per physician orders using Philips MRI systems; ensure proper safety screening and adherence to imaging protocols.
- Optimize scanner parameters and sequences to achieve high-quality images while maintaining patient comfort and safety; monitor for adverse reactions and manage contrast administration per protocol.
- Verify patient identity, confirm clinical history, and document procedures and results in the electronic medical record (Epic experience within the past 2 years is required and nonnegotiable).
- Collaborate with radiology team members to maintain workflow, support patient care needs, and ensure accurate communication of findings to the interpreting radiologist.
- Adhere to facility and regulatory standards, including patient safety, infection control, and radiology department guidelines; note that no block scheduling is required and scheduling may be adjusted to meet unit needs.

Requirements
- Active ARRT (MRI) or ARMRIT license; MR advanced licensure required
- BLS certification required
- Philips MRI system experience required
- Minimum 1 year of MRI experience; teaching hospital experience preferred
- Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years required
- MRI Tech Certification Verification (Equivalency) acceptable
- Public transportation is not accessible in this area; reliable personal or rented transportation is strongly recommended
- Prior travel experience preferred
