GPS Jobs is currently hiring Pump Testing Technicians / Mechanical Pump Tester in Rock Hill, SC!
GPS Jobs is seeking mechanically inclined individuals to join a growing manufacturing team in Rock Hill, SC. This is a great opportunity for candidates who enjoy troubleshooting, working with equipment, and being part of a quality-focused operation.
Pay & Schedule
- $23.00 per hour (includes shift differential)
- 2nd Shift: 3:30 PM - 11:30 PM
- Temp-to-Hire Opportunity

What You'll Do
- Test pumps and equipment to verify performance and quality standards
- Inspect for leaks and ensure product integrity
- Record test results and performance data
- Set up and adjust testing equipment and piping systems
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and assist with corrective actions
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
What We're Looking For
- 1-3 yrs of experience in manufacturing, mechanical assembly, or equipment testing
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Experience using hand tools, gauges, and measurement equipment
- Ability to read technical drawings and work instructions
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and work in a manufacturing environment throughout the shift
A drug-free workplace and a criminal background check are required.
