HealthYes Staffing Network is recruiting an X-Ray Technologist for a mission-driven community healthcare organization in Central Wyoming.

This PRN opportunity is ideal for a dependable, patient-focused Radiologic Technologist seeking an as-needed schedule while contributing to a collaborative outpatient clinical team. You will perform diagnostic radiographic examinations that support timely diagnoses and high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Perform medically indicated diagnostic radiographic examinations as ordered by qualified healthcare providers
  • Produce high-quality diagnostic images using appropriate positioning and imaging techniques
  • Apply safe and effective radiation-protection practices
  • Ensure patient comfort, safety, dignity, and privacy throughout each procedure
  • Process and transmit radiographic images and required documentation to the interpreting radiologist
  • Distribute radiology reports and images to ordering and referring providers
  • Promptly communicate critical imaging findings to the appropriate provider
  • Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to maintain efficient imaging workflows
  • Operate radiographic equipment safely while maintaining established image-quality standards
  • Assist with equipment maintenance, quality-control procedures, and departmental documentation
  • Maintain radiation-monitoring requirements, including film-badge compliance
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and protect patient confidentiality
  • Follow HIPAA, infection-control, and organizational safety standards
  • Maintain all required professional licenses and certifications
Required Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology training program
  • Registered or registry eligible through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • Current Wyoming Radiologic Technologist license or ability to obtain one before beginning employment
  • At least one year of full-time phlebotomy experience in an accredited laboratory
  • Knowledge of radiation-safety principles and diagnostic imaging practices
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with providers and clinical staff
  • Strong communication, organization, and critical-thinking skills
  • Professional and compassionate patient-care approach
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience performing diagnostic radiographic examinations
  • Experience working in an outpatient clinic, community health center, or similar healthcare setting
  • Experience serving patients from diverse backgrounds
  • Ability to remain organized and attentive in a fast-paced clinical environment
Physical Requirements

This position requires prolonged standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting. The X-Ray Technologist must be able to:

  • Assist patients safely onto and off imaging tables
  • Position and reposition patients for radiographic procedures
  • Move or support patients when clinically necessary
  • Operate imaging equipment safely
  • Use required radiation-protection and personal protective equipment

Occasional travel between clinical locations may be required.

Additional Employment Requirements
  • Successful completion of substance-abuse testing is required as a condition of employment
  • Strict compliance with HIPAA and patient-confidentiality requirements is mandatory
  • This is a PRN position without employer-sponsored benefits
