About The Role
Rhone is seeking a Digital Technical Designer with a strong background in 3D pattern making and 3D technical design to join our digital technical design team based in Stamford, CT. This role is pivotal in shaping the fit and visual representation of our garments in a 3D environment, ensuring that each piece reflects the Rhone aesthetic while meeting our high standards for function, comfort, and quality.
What You'll Do
Create accurate and visually compelling 3D garments using CLO 3D
Pattern make and lead fit development through CLO 3D
Refine garment fits across all sizes through virtual fittings and provide actionable feedback to improve construction and silhouette
Develop and maintain a digital library of 3D assets including avatars, block patterns, trims, and fabric simulations
Partner with Design and Merchandising Teams to visualize colorways, prints, graphics, and styling options in 3D
Support the transition from concept to production by ensuring 3D outputs align with physical garment specs
Separate and prep artwork in Illustrator and Photoshop for application in CLO 3D
What You'll Bring
2+ years of experience in CLO 3D technical design and 3D pattern making, with a portfolio showcasing fit-focused 3D garments
Strong foundation in pattern making and technical design; ability to interpret and troubleshoot patterns digitally
Deep understanding of garment construction, fabric properties, and fit standards
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and familiarity with PLM systems
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
A passion for CLO 3D
