What you’ll own- End-to-end site work: installation oversight, start‑up/commissioning, testing, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting for systems handling hazardous gas/odors, VOC abatement, particulate filtration/purification, separators, and ventilation.
- Hands-on work with CECO’s product families: Adwest, Busch, CECO Filters, Flex‑Kleen, Fisher Klosterman, and HEE‑Duall.
- Precision with process instrumentation—pressure, flow, temperature transmitters—and valve actuators, including testing and calibration.
- Verification and support of continuous emissions monitoring equipment.
- Mechanical diagnostics on rotating equipment: dampers, actuators, controls, and seal air fans.
- Clear, concise reports and customer communications; disciplined schedule/budget stewardship.
- Close collaboration with Engineering to issue project documents; meticulous protection of confidential company and customer information.
- Uncompromising safety aligned with Company/OSHA standards and our zero‑accident vision; organized, safe work areas at all times.
- Adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements; other related tasks as assigned.
- Engineering and/or Electronics background, or equivalent training/experience.
- 5+ years in a Field Service Specialist/Technician capacity.
- Ability to read specs and CAD drawings; strong materials/component literacy.
- Fluency with Field Service management tools/software.
- Knowledge of equipment interfacing with hazardous chemicals and safe handling practices.
- Experience with FRP and welding is a plus.
- Valid in‑state driver’s license; record meeting company standards for business travel.
- Willingness to travel up to 75% across the U.S.; some weekends required. Role is remote within the United States.
