Forklift Operator

We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to support warehouse and production operations. The ideal candidate will have forklift operating experience, strong attention to safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Location: Hanford, CA

Pay Rate: $17.90 per hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift to move, load, unload, and organize materials and products.
• Transport materials throughout the warehouse and production areas.
• Load and unload trucks while following proper safety procedures.
• Inspect the forklift and equipment before each shift and report any issues.
• Maintain accurate inventory movement and product placement.
• Follow warehouse, production, and safety procedures at all times.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
• Meet productivity and safety standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift operating experience preferred.
• Valid forklift certification preferred.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift in a warehouse or production environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades Principales

• Operar el montacargas de manera segura para mover, cargar, descargar y organizar materiales y productos.
• Transportar materiales dentro del almacén y las áreas de producción.
• Cargar y descargar camiones siguiendo los procedimientos de seguridad establecidos.
• Inspeccionar el montacargas y el equipo antes de cada turno y reportar cualquier problema.
• Mantener un movimiento adecuado del inventario y colocar los productos en las áreas correspondientes.
• Seguir en todo momento los procedimientos de seguridad, almacén y producción.
• Mantener las áreas de trabajo limpias, organizadas y libres de peligros.
• Apoyar con tareas generales de almacén según sea necesario.
• Comunicarse eficazmente con supervisores y compañeros de trabajo.
• Cumplir con los estándares de productividad y seguridad.
• Realizar otras tareas según sean asignadas.

Requisitos

• Se prefiere experiencia previa operando montacargas.
• Se prefiere certificación válida para operar montacargas.
• Capacidad para operar un montacargas de manera segura en un ambiente de almacén o producción.
• Excelente atención a los detalles y compromiso con la seguridad en el lugar de trabajo.
• Capacidad para levantar, cargar, empujar y jalar materiales según sea necesario.
• Capacidad para trabajar de manera independiente y como parte de un equipo.
• Asistencia confiable y puntualidad.
• Capacidad para trabajar en un ambiente de ritmo rápido.
