Pho Tre Bien is a full-service casual Vietnamese restaurant dedicated to serving authentic, made-from-scratch Vietnamese cuisine in a warm, welcoming atmosphere. From our slow-simmered pho broths to our fresh spring rolls and traditional entrees, we take pride in sharing genuine Vietnamese flavors and hospitality with our guests. We're looking for a friendly, attentive Server to help deliver that experience to every table.

Job Summary
We're looking for a Server who is passionate about great customer service and genuinely enjoys creating a positive dining experience for guests. You'll be the face of Pho Tre Bien for our customers — guiding them through the menu, answering questions about our dishes, and making sure every visit feels personal and welcoming, whether it's a guest's first time trying pho or a regular who's been coming for years.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and promptly upon seating
• Explain menu items, ingredients, and spice levels, including guidance for guests unfamiliar with Vietnamese cuisine
• Take accurate food and drink orders and enter them correctly into the POS system
• Recommend dishes, pairings, and specials to enhance the guest experience
• Deliver food and drinks promptly, checking for accuracy and presentation
• Check in with tables throughout the meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns
• Handle guest questions, special requests, and dietary accommodations (allergies, vegetarian, spice preferences, etc.) with care
• Process payments accurately and efficiently
• Bus and reset tables promptly to keep service flowing smoothly
• Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and other servers to ensure smooth ticket timing
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and server stations
• Follow all food safety and handling guidelines

Requirements

• Prior serving or customer service experience preferred, but not required — we're willing to train the right person
• Friendly, outgoing personality with strong communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while staying attentive to guest needs
• Basic math skills for handling checks and payments
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and lift up to 25–30 lbs (trays, bus tubs)
• Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Food Handler's Certification (or willingness to obtain within [X days] of hire — required in Texas)

• Legally authorized to work in the United States

Preferred qualifications:

• 18 years or older
• Available to work: weekends
• Available to work: weekdays
