This is a full-time Radiology Technologist opportunity working primarily Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (hours may occasionally adjust to 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM based on department needs). The Rad Tech will perform diagnostic X-ray procedures on patients of all ages, ensuring high-quality imaging while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
Responsibilities include preparing and positioning patients for exams, operating X-ray equipment, selecting appropriate imaging protocols, reviewing physician orders, documenting patient information in EMR systems, uploading images to PACS, and collaborating with physicians, radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare staff. The role also involves maintaining equipment and supplies, ensuring radiation safety compliance, and providing excellent patient care throughout the imaging process.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Radiologic Technology program and hold current ARRT certification. Experience reading radiology orders and a strong understanding of anatomy are required. Experience with EPIC and PACS is preferred. The contract is for 13 weeks, 40 hours per week, with an anticipated start date of September 14, 2026.
