Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Home Health position requiring EPIC experience and a valid driver's license.
Details
- Home Health setting providing personalized in-home care to patients throughout the community
- Day shift schedule, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
- Requires EPIC experience
- Mileage reimbursement provided in addition to pay rate
Requirements
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree required if licensed on or after January 2016, or foreign equivalent
- Physical Therapy license required in all applicable states of practice (license required if applicable)
- Current BLS certification required
- Valid driver's license required
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older
- Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty required, with recent experience within the last 3 months
- EPIC experience must be noted in employment history
Additional Information
- Plans and conducts treatment programs designed to restore and improve physical, social, and mental function
- Serves as co-leader in an interdisciplinary approach to patient care
- Completes evaluations and establishes individualized treatment and discharge plans
- Provides therapy interventions using appropriate protocols and techniques
- Completes comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation within established deadlines
- Supervises assigned assistants
- Required vaccinations are a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions where applicable
- Accepts local candidates at the same rate as travel positions with no radius rule
- Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will be automatically declined
- Candidates with a prior adverse action on their license will not be considered
