Qualification:
-Graduation from an approved school of radiology technology.
-Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and licensed by the State Department of Health.
-Flexibility to work overtime as needed as well as on-call duty.
-Displays a good understanding of age-related developmental issues of pediatrics and geriatrics
-Must maintain continuing education and meet the required continuing education credits by the ARRT
-Must maintain continuing education and have current BLS.
Job description:
-Under the direct supervision of the Imaging Director and under the guidance of the radiologist, performs radiographic procedures to assist in a diagnosis of disease and injuries. The Radiologic Technologist works effectively with patients and patients’ families, consults other departments as appropriate to collaborate in patient care and performance improvement activities.
-The employee will demonstrate the ability to: manage time; maintain a safe and clean environment; practice confidentiality; treats all persons with respect and professional courtesy; accept change; support the mission and vision of Big Horn Hospital Association (BHHA); accept and provide constructive feedback; be a team player; and adhere to the infection control, fire and safety, disaster and hazardous waste policies.
-The employee must also demonstrate the competencies for the position and adhere to policies and procedures for their department. Will perform other duties as directed.
