Kansas – Interventional Radiology Tech (4x10s | High-Volume IR | No Weekends)
Quick Glance:

- Setting: High-volume Interventional Radiology (7 procedure suites)
- Experience: 2+ years IR (scrub experience required)
- Cases: 60–65 daily across department
- Systems/Equipment: Siemens IR systems, EPIC (preferred)
Scope of Role:
- Assist with a wide range of advanced interventional radiology procedures in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Scrub and support physicians during high-volume IR cases
- Participate in both inpatient and outpatient procedural workflows
- Support hospital-wide line placements and specialty procedures
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and assist in complex IR procedures while maintaining sterile technique
- Prepare patients and procedural rooms for cases
- Operate Siemens imaging systems to ensure optimal image quality
- Assist with line placements, biopsies, and vascular interventions
- Support light neuro overflow cases (e.g., thyroid biopsies)
- Accurately document procedures in EPIC (or similar EMR systems)
- Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams
Must-Have Credentials:
- ARRT (R) certification
- Active BLS (AHA)
- Kansas Board of Healing Arts license (may be pending at time of offer)
- Minimum 2 years of recent IR experience in a large hospital setting
- Strong scrub experience in interventional radiology
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Siemens IR equipment
- Familiarity with EPIC EMR
- Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment

- Large teaching hospital setting
- 7 fully operational IR suites
