Job Summary
Speech Language Pathologist Inpatient (SLP IP) located in Ada. This position involves working within the inpatient therapy department at the healthcare provider, providing specialized speech therapy services to patients in a hospital setting. The role requires delivering care that supports patient recovery and communication needs across various inpatient units.
Job Details
- Schedule: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday hours. Minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Licensure in the state, with at least 1 year of experience in inpatient speech therapy.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in hospital inpatient therapy settings.
- Responsibilities: Provide speech therapy assessments and interventions to inpatient patients; collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement treatment plans; document patient progress and maintain accurate records; participate in patient care planning and multidisciplinary meetings.
- Certifications: Current licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in the state.
- Additional Information: Position start date is 09/28/2026, with an end date of 12/28/2026. Additional notes include working within Med/Surg and inpatient therapy units, and occasional floating to other units as needed. Submission of timely documentation and compliance with facility protocols are required.
