Packaging Associate - Now Hiring

Note – All potential employees must pass a background check and be permitted to work in the cannabis industry per the MRA before Bud & Mary's Missouri may present an offer of employment. SUMMARY:

Bud & Mary's Cannabis's Packaging Associate assists the Bud & Mary's Cannabis operations teams at its cannabis manufacturing operation. This position assists the operations team with various tasks following formulation of cannabis products through the delivery process. Aspects of the job include packaging, labeling, data entry and staging for delivery. 

Salary

$18 - $20 USD per hour

• Proficient in English. 
• Valid driver's license.
• Experience with Microsoft Word and other MS products as well as the ability to learn other software programs as needed.
• Ability to work weekends. 
• PHYSICAL EFFORT NEEDED: Must be able to lift at least fifty (50) pounds, be on feet all day, work in hot and cold environments.
• TYPICAL NUMBER OF DIRECT REPORTS: Zero (0).
• ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS: Exposed to dust, dirt, mud, varying temperatures, varying humidity levels, varying light intensities, and some solvents.
• Must be able to walk, bend, kneel, and read and write numbers and letters.

Desired Skills

• High school diploma required.
• Two (2) plus years of experience in a professional work setting.
• Assist with day-to-day operations in a large-scale cannabis manufacturing operation. 
• Assist the operations team with completing packaging process for formulated cannabis products. 
• Assist the operations team with labeling cannabis containers efficiently and accurately.
• Assist the operations team with filling customer orders, including picking orders from inventory and staging for delivery.
• Assist the operations team with various customer relations projects. 
• Assist with monitoring daily inventory and performing reconciliation using the compliance software.
• Document all work conducted in accordance with state and local law.
• Assist with ensuring testing of all cannabis products in accordance with state law.
• Deliver cannabis products to dispensaries and the laboratory. 
• Promote a positive work environment in line with established policies and procedures.
• Assist with managing the cleanliness and organization of workspaces.
