Job Summary:

Cedar Hill Nursing and Rehab Center, a leading long-term care facility in Jacksonville, Florida, is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Activities Assistant to join our dynamic team. As an Activities Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by creating engaging activities and promoting socialization. Responsibilities:

• Follow activities calendar to ensure a comprehensive program for residents

• Encourage resident participation and engagement in activities

• Follow resident's plan of care regarding activities, including completing room visits/1:1 visits

• Update the activity log for each resident daily

• Collaborate with the Activities Director to update activities based on resident preferences

• Perform duties in a fast-paced environment, working some evenings or weekends as needed
