Position SummaryThe Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and daily operations of our skilled nursing and rehabilitation center. This role oversees clinical, financial, operational, regulatory, and human resources functions while ensuring the facility maintains the highest standards of resident care and regulatory compliance.
The Administrator will drive strategic initiatives focused on:
Skilled nursing facility operations
Long-term care management
Employee recruitment and retention
Resident satisfaction and quality outcomes
Regulatory compliance and survey readiness
Financial performance and budget management
Census development and community partnerships
Staff engagement and leadership development
Direct and oversee all facility operations, clinical services, and administrative functions.
Provide leadership and support to department heads and interdisciplinary teams.
Foster a positive workplace culture focused on accountability, teamwork, and resident-centered care.
Conduct regular leadership meetings to ensure operational effectiveness and communication.
Maintain compliance with all Ohio Department of Health, CMS, state, federal, and local regulations.
Lead survey preparation efforts and maintain continual survey readiness.
Monitor quality measures and implement performance improvement initiatives.
Ensure facility policies and procedures meet current regulatory standards.
Manage facility budgets, financial performance, and profitability objectives.
Monitor monthly financial statements and key operational indicators.
Develop strategic plans to improve operational efficiency and facility performance.
Lead recruitment, retention, and employee engagement initiatives.
Hire, coach, mentor, and develop department leaders and staff.
Conduct annual performance evaluations and succession planning activities.
Promote a culture of professional growth and leadership development.
Partner with admissions and marketing teams to increase occupancy and strengthen referral relationships.
Build partnerships within the Cincinnati healthcare community.
Support strategies that enhance census growth and market presence.
Current, active, and unencumbered Ohio Nursing Home Administrator License (LNHA).
Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or related field.
Minimum of three (3) years of successful experience as a Nursing Home Administrator in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) or long-term care setting.
Strong leadership and team-building skills.
Experience managing budgets, staffing, compliance, and quality improvement initiatives.
Demonstrated success with state surveys and regulatory compliance.
Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related healthcare field.
Experience overseeing rehabilitation, post-acute care, memory care, or skilled nursing programs.
Proven success improving quality measures, census growth, and employee retention.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
Experience in healthcare operations management
Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and long-term care regulations
A history of mentoring and developing leaders
